Haydn Competition

Viennese Updates.

The quartet is back home in Paris after a week in Vienna, where the semi-final and final rounds of the 8th International Joseph Haydn Chamber Music Competition took place. We are very proud to have been among the three selected finalists, and despite the fact that the jury decided not to award most of the prizes, the thrill of our two performances has yet to wear off.

Huge thanks to everyone who supported us from afar by watching the livestreams - it was a joy to know you were there listening while we were onstage! And to those who helped us in our preparation for the competition: thank you to the Quatuor Van Kuijk, Luc-Marie Aguera, Pierre Fouchenneret, Raphaël Merlin, François Kieffer, and Lydia Shelley, to Pascale, and to the fabulous team at ProQuartet… we are so grateful for your time and your advice, your discerning ears and your words of encouragement, and your oysters.

We’ve taken a much needed rest, and are now jumping back into preparation for our next concerts and upcoming projects. Stay tuned!

Watch it on replay if you missed the livestream !
